Scholars differ on this name

The Prophet ﷺ changed the name al-Hubab (son of Abdullah ibn Ubayy) to Abdullah, saying Hubab is a name of Shaytan, and the word is also given as 'snake'; Dawat-e-Islami calls it makruh. Yet the Badri Sahabi Hubab ibn al-Mundhir (RA) kept the name, so scholars treat it as disliked rather than forbidden.

Better choice: Abdullah
