Safiya is a fine name, but 'Rahman' is a name of Allah that should not be used for a person without 'Abd' or 'Amat' before it. Darul Uloom Deoband advises keeping Safiya alone or using Amatur Rahman.
صفیہ اچھا نام ہے، لیکن 'رحمٰن' اللہ کا خاص نام ہے جو 'عبد' یا 'امۃ' کے بغیر کسی انسان کے لیے استعمال نہیں ہونا چاہیے۔ دارالعلوم دیوبند کا مشورہ ہے کہ صرف صفیہ رکھیں یا امۃ الرحمٰن۔
